Need help getting started?Quick guide to the visual appraisal workflow
1. Choose the item category

Select the closest category, or use All Items / Not Sure. This helps the appraisal team apply the right identification and valuation context.

2. Take useful photographs

Add up to six clear views: the full item, back or underside, maker marks, labels, damage, a size reference, and any box or paperwork.

3. Add details and start the appraisal

Share what you know, including measurements, history, working condition, or your main question. Then select Appraise This.

4. Review, challenge, and continue

Compare the agents’ findings, reply with @ to a specialist, add requested close-ups, and review the final value range and confidence level.

  • Use one new appraisal for one item. Follow-up questions and additional photos for that same item stay in its existing chat.
  • Clear maker marks, serial numbers, signatures, damage, and measurements usually improve identification and confidence.
  • AppraiseThis.ai provides a visual identification and estimated market-value range, not certified authentication, insurance valuation, or a guaranteed sale price.

Visitors can try one appraisal. Passport sign-in provides three free new appraisals each day, saved history, and pay-as-needed x402 access after the free allowance.

You can edit this category list and ordering in the AppraiseThis.ai admin.
